We've been around this rumor pretty much since Palm started looking competitive again, so take it for what you will -- but a bunch of fat cats down on Wall Street have been going ape today over renewed "chatter" that Nokia might be taking an interest in acquiring Palm.

If true, its good for all involved. Palms ingenuity in building mobile apps will make a remarkable addition to Maemo.

I always thought that Maemo & Palm's webOS are rather complementary from start - maybe it was in the long-term strategy on Palm's part.
